Miles Richardson Returns to Kristianstad Predators – “It Feels Like Fate to Be Back”

Kristianstad Predators have made a star signing for the 2025 season – Miles Richardson is back! After last time playing in Kristianstad in 2021, he has gained international experience, won a championship in France, and is now ready to lead the Predators as QB1 in the Superseries.

“It feels like I was meant to return to Kristianstad. I’m really excited to play with the Predators again,” says Miles.

A New Challenge in the Superseries

When Miles last played in Sweden, the Predators were in Division 1. Now, he is stepping straight into the Scandinavian top division – Superserien.

“This challenge was a big reason why I wanted to come back. Playing at the highest level in Scandinavia feels like an amazing opportunity.”

Since 2021, the club has developed both organizationally and in terms of gameplay.

“Predators have continued to grow and develop talent at all levels. They invest in programs and services to improve the organization and the sport. I’m looking forward to playing with some of the players I coached in 2021 – it’s exciting.”

Playing Style and Leadership on the Field

Miles is known for his mobility as a quarterback, but he also sees areas where he wants to continue improving.

“Style is a big part of why I love playing QB. I’ve previously focused on throwing on the run, but I see room to grow in decision-making and pocket passing. I want to make the players around me better and contribute to the club’s continued development.”

And the fans are eager to have their QB1 back.

Gold in France – and Comparisons to Sweden

After his time in Sweden, Miles continued his journey in France, where he won a championship.

“It was an amazing experience, especially seeing how much it meant to the guys from Grenoble. The league’s level was comparable to my first season in Sweden when we played in the second division.”

Now, he’s ready to use his experiences from both Sweden and France to take the Predators to the next level.

Best Memories from Kristianstad

Looking back on his first stint in Sweden, one memory stands out the most: his mother’s visit.

“I have many great memories from Kristianstad, but the one that stands out the most is when my mom came to visit. She became famous for her cheerleading at the games and her support for the club. We traveled around Sweden and experienced a lot together, but the highlight was when she organized a BBQ for the entire team at the end of the season – that’s one of my favorite memories.”
