Anti-Doping Policy for Kristianstad Predators 

​

1. Introduction 

​

Kristianstad Predators are dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the sport and ensuring fair competition. As part of our commitment to clean and drug-free sport, we have established this Anti-Doping Policy to promote and protect the health, well-being and credibility of our team members. This policy applies to all players, coaches, staff and anyone associated with the team.

2. Prohibited substances and methods 

​

2.1. The use, possession or distribution of substances or methods included on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, anabolic steroids, peptide hormones, growth factors, blood doping, genetic doping, and substances that conceal the presence of prohibited substances. 

​

2.2. Players and staff are responsible for ensuring that any medication or treatment they use is not on WADA's Prohibited List. It is their responsibility to consult with the team medical staff or a certified sports physician to ensure compliance with the policy. 

​

3. Testing and Sanctions 

​

3.1. All team members may be subject to both in-competition and out-of-competition testing conducted by a certified and independent testing body appointed by Kristianstad Predators or the relevant governing body. 

​

3.2. Refusal to submit to testing, tampering with samples, or any other attempt to avoid or obstruct the testing process will be considered a violation of this policy and may result in disciplinary action. 

​

3.3. If a player or staff member tests positive for a Prohibited Substance or violates any provision of this policy, they may be subject to disciplinary action, including suspension, termination of contract, loss of privileges and other appropriate action. 

​

4. Education and Support 

​

4.1. Kristianstad Predators will provide comprehensive education and awareness programs to all players and staff regarding the dangers of doping, the importance of clean sports and the consequences of doping violations. 

​

4.2. Team members will have access to qualified professionals who can provide advice and support regarding drug-free exercise, nutrition and health. 

​

5. Privacy and Reporting 

​

5.1. All information obtained through the anti-doping program, including test results, medical records and other personal or sensitive information, will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. 

​

5.2. Persons who suspect or have information related to doping offenses are encouraged to report such information to the competent authorities within Kristianstad Predators. Whistleblower protection will be offered to those who report crimes in good faith. 

​

6. Policy Compliance 

​

6.1. All players and personnel associated with the Kristianstad Predators are required to comply with this Anti-Doping Policy as a condition of their participation or employment. 

​

6.2. Violations of this policy will be promptly investigated, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken as appropriate. 

​

7. Policy Review 

​

7.1. This Anti-Doping Policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure it is up-to-date with the latest anti-doping rules and best practices. 

​

7.2. Any revisions or updates to the policy will be communicated to all team members to ensure their understanding and compliance. 

​

By accepting membership or employment with Kristianstad Predators, players and staff acknowledge their commitment to this Anti-Doping Policy and agree to abide by its provisions.
